When drawing as a child, my mother used to call me ‘Little Picasso’ as I would never draw something real. My abstract art was then greatly appreciated by our art teacher at high school. I became best of class and she lauded my freedom of expression. Now, at the age of 65, nothing is lost of this spontaneous self-expression. In the contrary, using the iPad and Procreate since 2012, I am able to express things comfortably in the digital format, while my non-digital art—for example from the years 1986-1992 and 2019—also deserves attention.
